As you may know, our great friend Alan Smith passed away at the end of last year. He was an amazing man, with a huge wealth of knowledge and experience in the countryside and farming. He also had a wry sense of humour and a great wit. We are devastated but knowing Alan, he wouldn't have wanted us to stop enjoying his fabulous spuds. Lets think of Alan while we enjoy the last of them.
