Most of our eggs are sorces just up the road at Planton Farm.
Clare and Rupert from Planton Farm in Shropshire are organic growers from Clee Hill. Their hens forage on biodiverse hay meadows which provide them with a diverse diet of grasses, herbs and insects. They are part of Planton Farm's mixed farming team, scratching cow dung and helping to spread it around to feed the soil microbes which in turn feed the plants.
New hens mean fewer eggs until they settle in and to supplment our supplies you may also receive eggs from David and Helen’s farm near Penrith in the Lake District. These eggs are laid by organic, free range hens that live under native woodland in the Lake District.
